The first step in the online application is to check if you are eligible. If eligible, you will continue the application process. After you submit your application, your information will be assessed. If you meet certain conditions, you will receive a two-month subsidy while we assess your application starting the month your complete application is received.
You can apply using a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
Get startedIt is best to renew your subsidy a month before the end date to minimize any interruptions in your subsidy payments. We will send you a renewal notice to remind you when it is time to reapply.

MyAlberta Digital ID is your single, verified online identify for interacting with Government of Alberta online programs and services. It is free to create and gives you secure access to apply for child care subsidy.
MyAlberta Digital ID allows you to start an application for child care subsidy, stop, and then come back to it up later. If you are in the middle of an application, simply log back in to continue.
